Role and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establish relationships with our existing base of customers and serve as the primary liaison for assigned accounts, with the responsibility for both retention and growth within those accounts
- Promote solutions provided by Smart Data that improve the efficiency and reduce the operational complexity of claims management
- Ensure a deep understanding of customer’s individual experiences, pain points, and needs to head off potential issues and provide relevant solutions where possible
- Collaborate with customers, C-level executives, directors, and/or managers (as applicable), during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and as needed to curate and pursue additional opportunities
- Develop a pipeline of qualified opportunities across assigned accounts and engage in a consultative sales process with them, identifying business needs and product requirements and determining recommended solutions to secure incremental business
- Meet and/or exceed assigned annual quotas and all related performance objectives
- Develop and maintain industry and product knowledge, adapt to changes in the market, participate in national/regional conferences, drive overall brand awareness, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 5+ years healthcare sales and/or account management experience
- Experience selling outsourced services and technology solutions to payers and TPAs
- Superior communication skills (both internally and with external parties/clients)
- Team-oriented approach and working style
- Based anywhere in the continental United States with access to an airport for required travel, including for sales training and other meetings at company headquarters in Eagan, MN
Full-time position. Monday – Friday. Work hours outside of normal office hours may be required to meet deadlines, attend events, etc. Some travel may be required.
