Smart Data Solutions is looking for qualified individuals to work in our mail processing center. This is a fast paced environment where standards and timelines must be met on a daily basis. The ability to move quickly while doing tedious tasks is a must. Employees showing outstanding work on a daily basis will be rewarded! Clients have the ability to change the way we handle their mail at any moment. We are a growing company with new clients always coming on board, which means training is never complete. There will always be something new and exciting to learn.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Opening, Sorting, Batching and QC of documents
- May require some scanning if needed
- Preparing, verifying, and counting documents for scanning. Scan if needed
- Unfold/un-crease, tape, rubber band, or un-staple documents if needed
- Fix tears and make copies of documents if needed
- Use sorting sheets as trained
- Perform other basic office duties as assigned
- Process rejects and rescans as needed.
- Work until all tasks are completed for the day
- Ensure that all PHI information is kept confidential
- Motivated, self-starting attitude
- Ability to multitask and move quickly
- Ability to stay focused and on-task
- High attention to detail while being efficient
- Quick learner
- Ability to follow basic or difficult instructions when needed
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs (not a daily task but will be required occasionally)
- Equivalent work experience preferred
- Mailroom/Office: 1 year
Current full-time shifts available during the hours of 8AM-6PM, Monday through Friday.
Part-time hours are available upon request, including Saturday hours.
- Training period of up to 4 weeks will be provided
- Training will occur during day shift hours
- Successful completion of training required for continued employment
Starting pay is $13.50/hr. There is also an opportunity for increased hourly pay and bonuses based on performance.

Federal Covid Vaccination Mandate
SDS is subject to the Federal Covid Vaccination Mandate due to our status as a Federal Sub-Contractor. The mandates dictates that we implement the below policies:
- All US employees must have received their second vaccination of Moderna or Pfizer or the one shot of Johnson & Johnson by January 4, 2022.
- These requirements apply to all remote employees, even if you never work in an SDS facility.
- Proof of vaccination must be received by 1/4/22.
- If an employee does not meet the vaccination requirements, they must provide a negative test every week at their own expense.
- If neither of those requirements are met, the employee will not be allowed to work until they are compliant and failure to comply may result in termination.
